Holy Crap by this time next week I will be in Singapore. It is such a surreal feeling. I have never really travelled, other than to the Dominican Republic. So this little adventure that Cam and I are about to embark on is kinda intimidating to me. I really don't know what to expect. We both have received such great advice from friends who have travelled. You can always take from other peoples experiences, however we will mostly be learning on our own, no two trips are the same. Last night we finally started to pack. It took me three times of going through my bag and taking things out to finally get my bag so that it wasn't overflowing with clothes. I find it really hard to decide what I am going to wear in advance. We have been living in cold weather now for a few months, so the thought of digging through my summer clothes and deciding what to bring and what not to bring is quite a challenge for me. I looked at Cam's backpack and then my backpack, and he has so much more space than me....hm...my only excuse is that I am a girl and I like to have options for things to wear. Either way I think I have it figured out. So for the most part we are all packed.
Come Friday morning our journey begins. We will be travelling through BC visiting friends and family before our flight leaves on Monday. First stop is Kelowna, then we are off to Vancouver. I am so excited to see my very good friend Nicole in Kelowna! I haven't seen her since the wedding. As well as our friends in Vancouver. We haven't seen any of them since the wedding as well. So we start our journey off with a bang. Another good friend of mine gave me a journal book for Christmas so that I can write down what we do and places we go so I can keep up with my blog while I am away. I probably won't be posting anything, but when I get back I will have a lot of stories and pictures. So to everyone that takes time out of their day to read my random postings, check back here in March after I get back. Take care and we will talk to you all soon!!
