I'm BACK!

I am a horrible blogger. I am not too sure who actually reads my blog and keeps up with it, but I am going to try to get back into updating my blog. Life for me has been nothing short of busy for the last few months. It feels so good to be back in Canada and back home. The trip was amazing. There were many things that we got to see, and do, and experience. As I had mentioned our trip started off as a little BC trip. We got to see a lot of people before we left for our adventure. In Kelowna we got to see Cam's grandma, who is doing great. She has a busier schedule of things to do than me. We stayed with Nicole and Kihenjo for the night in Kelowna at their new house. It is a great place they have, and it is in a good area. Our visit in Kelowna was short, but we knew that we would see everyone soon enough because when we returned from our trip we would be moving there.
Vancouver was another one of our stops, again a great visit with friends in Vancouver. Mike and Ellen's little guy Kegan is getting so big, and was almost walking when we were there. So our trip started off to a great start. I guess I can't really go into all the details in one posting. My friend Michelle gave me a journal for Christmas which I used to keep a daily blog of what we did in a day on our trip. So by using my blog to post stories and pictures is a way to fill everyone in on our trip and for me to document what we did.
We were only back for a week and Cam managed to find a job quickly. So we have been in Kelowna now for two weeks. Again staying with Nicole and Kihenjo. We have found a place to rent for the end of the month, so hopefully I can get back to work again soon. Danielle is coming down for a visit, I am so excited to see her. I haven't seen her since Christmas. When we lived in the same city I saw her a lot, now that I am so far away I won't see her as much... I think I might go through withdrawls. I just need to figure a way to get her to move closer. I just want to move into our place so I can get my pug back with me. I miss her so much. But it would be more stressful for her to be here in Kelowna and then having to uproot her again to the new place. It will be an easier adjustment once all of our stuff is in the new place, then she will know that that is going to be home. I am not too sure what happened to her while we were away but when we got home she was a completely different dog. From the day I got her, she was very different than most puppies. She didn't care for other dogs, she never really like to play with other dogs. She would play run and chase but that was about it. She wouldn't wrestle with other dogs, let alone allow them to lay a paw on her. She was living in her own little bubble, and no matter what we tried to do there was no bursting it. When we arrived home we got to witness first hand her and her cousin Riley actually playing. Full out wrestling, biting at each other playing. There was almost a tear in my eye with happiness that my dog was actually kinda normal now. She even allows Riley to lay with her and cuddle up close to her.

We get to go home for Easter so we will get to see Zoe at Easter, then we will be back again in a week to move our stuff to our new place in Coldstream. Then we can start to get things settled and I can start finding a job. We are getting a really good deal on the place that we are renting so we will be able to save up and buy a house later this year, or next year. I am just really looking forward to things getting back to normal for us.
